At the end of the seventies, the Deutsche Bank became one of the first concerns to bring together the worlds of work and contemporary art. Under the motto "art at work" the bank created one of the largest corporate collections in the world - which is displayed in its offices all around the globe. In contrast to art in a museum, "art at work" precisely confronts the observer in his or her place of work.
